Now that we have seen Beloved Almighty Lord Jesus Christ clearly as "Our Great High Priest", we will move to Psalms.
The Beginning: Psalm Chapter 1:
1. "BLESSED is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful."
2. "But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate (study) day and night."
3. "And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither (fade); and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper."
4. "The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away."
5. "Therefore the ungodly shall not stand (rise) in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation (assembly) of the righteous."
6. "For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish."
Within Psalm 1 are: instructions to us, promises to us and "Blessings" to us if we OBEY.
Psalm 118 is a very, very important Psalm. In It is contained the middle verse of "The Bible". Please be sure to read It often.
Psalm 118:8: "It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man."
A very important instruction (warning) that if we heed It and obey It, will bring us to: "And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye may be filled with all the fulness of God" (Ephesians 3:19)
The End: Psalm 150:
1. "PRAISE ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power."
2. "Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness."
3. "Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with psaltery and harp."
4. "Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs."
5. "Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals."
6. "Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD."
Between Psalm 1 and Psalm 150 is a plethora of information from and about "The Old Testament". Psalms is in part a summary of "The Old Testament". However, It in no way should preclude studying "The Old Testament".
Psalm 2: This Psalm is about Beloved Almighty Lord Jesus Christ.
1. "WHY do the heathen (nations) rage, and the people imagine a vain (foolish) thing?"
2. "The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed (Christ) saying,"
3. "Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us."
4. "He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision."
5. "Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex (trouble) them in his sore (great) displeasure."
6. "Yet have I set (founded) my king upon my holy hill of Zion."
7. "I will declare (announce) the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee."
8. "Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession."
God, our Father is speaking to Jesus, our Lord and Saviour about we the Gentiles (heathen) Christians.
9. "Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel."
As Christians, we were chosen, predestinated and ordained to be "saved" before the foundation of The World. Not all of the heathen (the Gentiles will be saved). (See Revelation 11:1-2)
Revelation 11:1-"And there was given me a reed like unto a rod (10.5 feet): and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein."
2. "But the court which is without the temple leave out (cast out) and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months."
This is why the following Words were given to Beloved Apostle Saint John.
Revelation 19:9- "And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God."
10. "Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth."
11. "Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling."
Very important instruction - we should obey It daily!
12. "Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him."
Even greater instruction - we should obey It always!
Again, Thank You for allowing me to share with you.
