"Discipleship: Part 4"

We now move to The Words of Beloved Almighty Lord Jesus Christ on "Discipleship" in "The Gospel According To John"

John 16:33:

33.) "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation (trouble): but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."

John 8:12:

12.) "Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."

John 8:31-32:

31.) "Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;"

32.) "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

John 8:36: A Reminder:

36.) "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed."

John 10:1-18:

1.) "VERILY, verily (Truly, truly), I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber."

2.) "But he that entereth (goes) in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep."

3.) "To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice; and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out."

4.) "And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice."

5.) "And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers."

6.) "This parable (story) spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them."

7.) "Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily (Truly, truly), I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep."

8.) "All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them (listen)."

9.) "I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out and find pasture (be nourished)."

10.) "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."

11.) "I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep."

12.) "But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep."

13.) "The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep."

14.) "I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine."

15.) "As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep."

16.) "And other sheep I have which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd."

Note: Beloved Almighty Christ Jesus is speaking about we the Gentiles - we the Christians.

17.) "Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again."

18.) "No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father."

John 12:25-26:

25.) "He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal."

26.) "If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, will my Father honour."

John 13:14-17:

14.) "If I the, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet."

15.) "For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you."

16.) "Verily, verily (Truly, truly), I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he (the messenger) that is sent greater than he that sent him."

John 14:1-4:

1.) "LET not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me."

2.) "In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.".

3.) "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."

4.) "And whither I go ye know (understand) and the way ye know."

John 14:12-15:

12.) "Verily, verily (Truly, truly), I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father."

13.) "And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified (honored) in the Son."

14.) "If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it."

Note: John 14:13-14 is the reason I pray directly to my Beloved Almighty Lord Jesus Christ versus Beloved Almighty Father God, in The Name of Jesus. In understanding Verses 13 and 14, we understand that our Father is glorified and honored in The Son when we direct our prayers to Beloved Almighty Lord Jesus Christ. Of course we are all in choice.

15.) "If ye love me, keep my commandments."

John 14:18:

18.) "I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you."

John 14:21:

21.) "He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him."

John 14:26-27:

26.) "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."

27.) "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

John 15:All:

1.) "I AM the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman."

2.) "Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth (prunes) it, that it may bring forth more fruit."

3.) "Now ye are clean (pruned) through the word which I have spoken unto you."

4.) "Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide
in (remains attached to) the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me."

5.) "I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without (apart from) me ye can do nothing."

6.) "If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned."

7.) "If ye abide in (remain attached to) me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you."

8.) "Herein is my Father glorified (honored) that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples."

9.) "As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love."

10.) "If ye keep (obey) my commandments, ye shall abide (live) in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide (remain) in his love."

11.) "These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full."

12.) "This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you."

13.) "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."

14.) "Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you."

15.) "Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known (explained) unto you."

16.) "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you."

17.) "These things I command you, that ye love one another."

18.) "If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you."

19.) "If ye were of (belonged to) the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you."

20.) "Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also."

21.) "But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me."

22.) "If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak (covering) for their sin."

23.) "He that hateth (despise) me hateth my Father also."

24.) "If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father."

25.) "But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause."

26.) "But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:"

27.) "And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning."

Please study the Chapters in their entirety for greater understanding, as led by The Spirit.

This completes our look at and study of some of the words of Beloved Almighty Lord Jesus on 'Discipleship" in "The Four Gospels". I am sure there are other words and passages that you and I will discover as we continue our study of The Almighty Word Of God.

12.) "That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world."
